Ever thought of working in one of the fastest growing

An entrepreneurial, fun startup based out of Chicago
seeks an energetic, eager to learn intern to learn all
aspects of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine
Optimization (SEO).
Be Found Local was founded in 2004 by two Northwestern
Alumni - both experienced search marketers and search
engine optimization industry experts. Our mission is to
deliver leading paid search management and optimization
solutions to small business - or in more simple English
- to help small and mid-size businesses get found online!
After some very explosive initial growth, its time that
our small team is grown to bring a new member into the
fold.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn more
about online marketing and advertising to prepare for
a job in the fastest growing advertising industry in history.
The intern would be responsible for a multitude of project
based assignments and offered the opportunity to gain
real-world experience in this exciting field.
Job Description: Roughly 50% of the work can be done
virtually (from anywhere, as long as you have an internet
connection) and 50% would be done in Chicago, where the
majority of our team is based.
* PPC Management: Plan, manage and optimize paid search
advertising campaigns on Google, Yahoo & MSN. (AKA:
Search Engine Marketing, Paid Search, SEM, PPC)
* New Client Onboarding/Content Optimization: Helping
small businesses sign up, fill out and optimize business
content to allow for effective listing on Internet directories
* Search Engine Optimization: Learning about how to optimize
websites to increase success of being found by search
engines (AKA: Search Engine Optimization, SEO, Natural
Search Optimization)
* Sales Support: Helping with the preparation of marketing
materials and website evaluations.
* Business Development and Sales: Bringing on new clients
by following up with potential prospects we've identified

Qualifications:
The right candidate would have a mix of marketing, business,
entrepreneurial, and technical interest and knowledge.
Prior knowledge in the field is not needed to do well;
all you should have is a drive to learn and work in a
fast paced and startup environment. We are looking for
a Junior/Senior who is thinking about getting into the
technology field upon graduation - if our firm continues
to grow at the rate we're experiencing now, we'll hopefully
be bringing folk on full time upon their graduation or
using our many industry connections to help you find a
job in the field.
Regional Sales Representative:
Be Found Local is looking for entrepreneurs across the
country to sell our online marketing services locally.
Sales representatives will have the opportunity to earn
competitive sales commissions as well as ongoing revenue
from your local clients.
